Mahindra has officially revealed the 2025 facelifted versions of the Bolero and Bolero Neo, and they immediately grabbed attention for their strong, boxy designs. Starting at just ₹7.99 lakh (ex-showroom), these SUVs offer a bold and practical package for Indian buyers who want real SUV vibes without spending a fortune.
2025 Mahindra Bolero Classic
Mahindra has launched the 2025 facelift of the Bolero Classic, which gives it a fresher and more modern appeal while retaining its strong, boxy character.
The new Bolero classic now gets small yet impressive design changes. At the front, it gets a straight bonnet, a revised grille with vertical slats, Mahindra’s new twin-peaks logo and a metallic front bumper. Fog lamps, which were previously limited to the top variant, now start from the B6 trim. The SUV still has its iconic upright stance and boxy silhouette, which perfectly captures the classic SUV feel.
On the side, the Bolero has retained its compact 4-metre length, but the top variant now comes with new 15-inch dual-tone wheels that enhance its visual appeal. At the rear, the design remains largely unchanged – still strong and traditional – with boxy tail lamps and the signature step mounted on the tailgate. Mahindra has also introduced a new black paint option that gives the Bolero a bold “mafia-style” look.
Inside, the cabin gets small but significant updates. The seats and dashboard get new upholstery, and the higher trims get a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Mahindra has added steering-mounted controls and door bottle holders, features that were missing in the previous version. Ride comfort has improved thanks to the updated suspension setup (Ride Flow Technology), which provides a smoother experience on rough terrain.
Powering the Bolero is the familiar 1.5-litre diesel engine, which produces 72 HP and 210 Nm of torque. It is a rear-wheel-drive SUV, which keeps its old-school charm alive.

The biggest news, however, is the price. The new Bolero starts at ₹7.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making it about ₹2 lakh cheaper than the pre-facelift version. Variants now start from B4 (the earlier B2 has been discontinued) and go up to B8. Packed with new features and styling, the new Bolero Classic is priced at just ₹9.7 lakh for the top variant – excellent value for money considering the upgrades and overall strong appeal.

2025 Mahindra Bolero Neo
The Bolero Neo facelift also sees significant upgrades in design, interior and features, while retaining its tough and practical nature. It is aimed at customers who want a compact SUV with a strong road presence and off-road capability, something you won’t find in rivals like the Brezza or the Sonet.
The front design now features a new vertical-slat grille with the Mahindra logo, a reshaped bumper, round fog lamps and a sporty skid plate. On the sides, the SUV retains the sub-4-metre length but offers the same generous wheelbase as the XUV700, which provides excellent cabin space.
New 16-inch gunmetal-finish alloy wheels give it a stylish and premium touch. The rear remains clean and simple, with two new colour options – Jeans Blue and Granite Grey – and a dual-tone theme with a contrasting black roof for added flair.
Inside, the Neo gets a fresh Mocha Brown and Beige dual-tone interior, which offers a more upmarket feel. The top variants now come with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering-mounted controls and better ride and braking responsiveness, thanks to Mahindra’s revised Ride Flow suspension setup.
The Bolero Neo is powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 100 HP and 260 Nm of torque, offering stronger performance than the standard Bolero.
When it comes to pricing, Mahindra has made the Neo more attractive. The range now starts at ₹8.49 lakh (N4 variant) and goes up to ₹10.9 lakh (N10 Plus). A new variant, the N11, has also been added at ₹9.99 lakh, which features upgraded looks and features. Prices have come down by up to ₹2 lakh compared to the previous model, making the Bolero Neo the best-value rugged SUV in India.
