2025 KTM 160 Duke Price, Specs, Colors, Drive Review

2025 ktm 160 duke side view

The 2025 KTM 160 Duke was launched in India in August 2025, and is priced at ₹1,84,998 (Delhi) ex-showroom. On-road prices vary by city, with an estimated range between ₹2.03 lakh and ₹2.20 lakh, depending on local taxes and registration fees. This makes it the cheapest KTM motorcycle in India so far, with customer deliveries set to begin from August 12, 2025.

At ₹1.85 lakh (ex-showroom), the 160 Duke is priced slightly more than the older 125 Duke but brings massive upgrades in power, features and components. It is also an attractive option for those who want the KTM badge, without the high price tag or terrible performance of the bigger Dukes.

Motorcycles are often designed with a single purpose in mind. Sportbikes are built for speed and handling on curvy roads or racetracks, while cruisers are for comfortable highway riding. Similarly, the new KTM 160 Duke feels like a focused machine.

The engine delivers power linearly and retains KTM’s performance DNA. The motor is surprisingly refined with vibrations only noticeable near the redline.

Like any KTM bike, it really comes alive when you open the throttle, and remains relaxed even at 100 kmph. It’s easy enough for city commuting, but fun to drive when revved up.

Interestingly, the gearing is even shorter than the 200 Duke, so you’ll be able to reach the redline quickly. Top speed is around 120-125 kmph, which is a bit lower than the MT-15 but still respectable.

Chassis & Suspension

The 160 Duke features KTM’s signature split trellis steel frame, which provides excellent rigidity and precise handling, which adds confidence at high speeds, the suspension setup includes the following.

  • Front: 43 mm WP Apex USD forks with 138 mm travel.
  • Rear: WP Apex monoshock suspension setup with preload adjustability and 161 mm travel.

Braking & Safety Features

The KTM Duke 160 is fitted with wheels and brakes taken from the bigger Duke 390. This means you get a 320 mm front disc with a radial 4-piston caliper, which comes with the best braking setup in this segment.
