The Ultraviolet Tesseract has completely shaken up the electric scooter market in India. With its futuristic design, advanced technology and aggressive pricing, it aims to set new benchmarks in the EV space. Priced at ₹1.2 lakh (introductory), the Tesseract brings features that we have never seen before in an Indian scooter.
In terms of design, the scooter looks sharp and modern, inspired by combat helicopters. The Tesseract is available in four colours – pink, cream, black and white, with the black variant standing out the most. At the front, you get the UV logo, steel visor, camera and radar for safety. The scooter rides on 14-inch wheels with 110/80 front and 140/70 rear tyres, which use telescopic suspension at the front and dual-spring suspension at the rear. The seat, panels and swingarm are all made with a premium, sharp and edgy look.
The dashboard and storage are equally impressive. The 7-inch touchscreen offers navigation, call notifications, music control, Bluetooth, WiFi and much more. The scooter has a 34-litre boot that can easily fit a full-face helmet, with the option to add a 12-litre pannier for additional storage.

Talking about performance, the Tesseract uses a mid-drive motor with a peak output of 15 kW (20 HP). It accelerates from 0-60 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and offers a top speed of 125 km/h. Three battery options are available – 3.5 kWh (161 km range), 5 kWh (220 km range), and 6 kWh (261 km range). With DC fast charging, the scooter can be charged from 0-80% in just 1 hour. The warranty is 3 years/75,000 km, which can be extended to 8 years/2 lakh km.
The biggest highlight is in the safety technology. The Tesseract comes with dual radars (front and rear), dash cams and omnisense mirrors that warn you of blind spots and approaching vehicles. This system can also automatically adjust traction control based on the weather. Apart from this, features like dual-channel ABS, traction control, dynamic stability control, hill-hold, cruise control, four-level regions, park assist and proximity key entry make it one of the most advanced scooters in the world.

Now, let’s talk about the price and booking. The base 3.5 kWh variant is priced at ₹1.45 lakh (ex-showroom), but thanks to an introductory discount of ₹25,000, the first 50,000 customers can buy it for ₹1.2 lakh. Bookings crossed 20,000 within 48 hours, and deliveries will begin in early 2026. However, the long waiting period of a year is a disadvantage for many buyers.
In terms of competition, the Ultraviolet Tesseract directly competes with the likes of Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X, River Indy, and TVS iQube. Compared to them, it offers a more premium design, higher power, larger wheels, and advanced safety features at a competitive price.
Overall, the Tesseract looks like a game-changer. If Ultraviolet manages to deliver on the promised features even in the base variant, this scooter could force other companies to slash prices and upgrade their products. The only major drawback is the long wait time for delivery. Still, at ₹1.2 lakh, with futuristic styling and world-class features, the Ultraviolet Tesseract is one of the most attractive electric scooters to look at in India.
