The new Porsche 911 Turbo S (2026 facelift) is the most powerful 911 ever, producing 711 hp. The number is not random, it refers to the area code of Porsche’s hometown of Stuttgart (0711). The model features a hybrid-assisted 3.6L flat-six engine with two electric turbochargers and an electric motor in the PDK gearbox. Power output is 711 hp and 800 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 2.5 seconds and a 0-200 km/h sprint in 8.4 seconds, both faster than the outgoing model.
This revolutionary sports car combines Porsche’s motorsport DNA with cutting-edge T-Hybrid to deliver unprecedented performance while maintaining everyday usability.
Exterior Design & Aerodynamics
The facelifted 911 Turbo S gets a lower front end with adaptive air intakes, new Matrix LED headlights (standard) and larger ceramic brakes (PCCB), the largest fitted to any Porsche two-door car. It comes with 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch wheels at the rear, i.e. with a staggered wheel setup, plus an adaptive rear wing for additional downforce. At the rear, updates include a full-width LED light bar, new 3D Porsche lettering and a titanium exhaust system. Customers can choose between standard exhaust tips or a round titanium design via the Sports Design Package.

Powertrain & Hybrid Tech
The new 3.6-litre twin-turbo flat-six boxer engine has been redesigned with dual electric turbochargers and a 48V hybrid system. A small 1.9 kWh buffer battery ensures continuous operation without range concerns. What makes it unique is the recuperation by the turbo, which means that the extra boost energy is converted into power even under acceleration. This setup helped the car shave 14 seconds off its Nurburgring lap time. Despite the hybrid tech, the weight gain is minimal, just 85 kg more, the car weighs 1,710 kg, making it agile compared to heavier EV supercars.

Driving Dynamics

The Turbo S comes with all-wheel drive, with a bias setup at the rear (up to 25% more power than the front wheels). It has PASM adaptive suspension as standard, with the option of a sporty, stiffer setup lowered by 10 mm. New tech like E-H PDCC (Electro-Hydraulic Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control) keeps the car flat in corners without body roll. Wider rear tires (+10 mm) improve grip, although Porsche admits that the car is now so fast that the tires, not the engine, become the limiting factor.

Convertible and Personalization
The convertible version gets the same performance but adds design tweaks like an automatic wind deflector, a quick-folding soft top, and round exhaust tips. Porsche is also offering carbon fiber exterior trim, carbon wheels, and new shades like Vanadium Gray and Ice Gray. The convertible looks almost coupe-like when the roof is up, giving it a sleek profile.
Interior and Features

Inside, the Turbo S blends modern technology with traditional Porsche details. The cockpit is fully digital, replacing the classic analog rev counter, though users can customize the layout. The large infotainment system, real climate control buttons, and physical controls for exhaust and drive modes retain a tactile feel. The drive mode selector on the steering wheel includes a power boost button. There’s a choice of standard sports seats or optional bucket seats, which come in materials like Racetex microfiber (though Porsche still lacks non-leather options). Coupe models come with two seats (optional 2+2 layout), while the convertible gets 2+2 as standard. Practicality remains with useful frunk and small rear seats for bags or short trips.
