The Indian car market is witnessing record-breaking sales and exports, with almost every car manufacturer performing at its peak. This momentum has made brands very optimistic about India, and over 40 new cars are expected to be launched by 2026. From EVs and hybrids to SUVs and performance machines, the next two years will be full of action. Here are the top 20 cars to be launched in 2026, which are really worth knowing about and maybe waiting for.

It is expected to be launched in India by Maruti Suzuki as the “Frog”, with a compact, hatchback-like SUV profile, split LED headlights and unique H-shaped tail-lamps. Inside, the layout will be similar to the i20’s interior. Engine options include a 1.2L turbo petrol (120hp) and a 1.5L diesel, which offer good performance. Pricing is expected to start at around ₹7.5 lakh, making it a value-focused offering, though it will struggle to match the 17,000 monthly sales of the Fronx.
19 and 18. Skoda Kushak Facelift and Volkswagen Taigun Facelift
The Kushak and Taigun facelifts will continue as “twin siblings”, coming with similar updates.
