This article provides an A-Z list of new motorcycles and scooters to be launched in India in 2025.
Aprilia

The Aprilia Tuono 457 will be a more comfortable, stripped-down version of the RS 457 that produces 47.6 hp of power and 43.5 Nm of torque, features a new headlight design, a larger rear sprocket and a slightly smaller fuel tank. It weighs around 175 kg, and is expected to be priced around ₹4 lakh.
BMW
F 450 GS: Made in India in partnership with BMW and TVS, this is a small-capacity adventure bike that will be powered by a new parallel-twin engine in the 450cc ballpark, rated for 48 horsepower. The concept looks production-ready with a 6.5-inch TFT dash, cross-spoke wheels and fully adjustable suspension.
R 1300 GSA: Built on BMW’s new 1300 platform with a 30-litre fuel tank and weighs 269 kg. It can be equipped with BMW’s automated shift assistant and comes standard with radar-assisted rider aids. It is expected to be launched in the first half of 2025.
Updated S1000RR: The M1000RR gets a redesigned fairing and winglets, with the addition of a front wheel cover that directs air towards the brake calipers, keeping the brakes cool. There are no changes mechanically. Prices are expected to increase to ₹25.25 lakh from the current ₹20.75 lakh.
Ducati
New Multistrada, Streetfighter and Panigale V2s: All three models will use the new 890cc V2 engine. The Multistrada V2 will come with 115 horsepower and will have an aluminum monocoque unit. The Streetfighter and Panigale V2 models will produce 120 horsepower and will also be significantly lighter than their predecessors. All three are expected to be launched in India in 2025.
Updated Panigale V4: This major update includes several improvements to the bike, the biggest visual change being a new double-sided swingarm. It also uses Brembo’s latest high-pressure brake calipers. Current prices range from ₹27.7 lakh for the base model to ₹33.2 lakh for the S variant, and these prices are expected to increase.

Hero
XPulse 210: The XPulse 210 uses the engine from the Karizma XMR, which produces 24.6 horsepower and 20.7 Nm of torque. It weighs 170 kg and gets an ADV-style design, more suspension travel (210mm front, 205mm rear), a 4.2-inch TFT display and a slipper clutch. It is expected to be priced at ₹30,000-₹40,000 more than the current XPulse 200, which also has a long rally variant available.
Karizma XMR 250 and Xtreme 250R: Both the bikes are powered by a new 250cc single-cylinder engine that produces 30 horsepower and 25 Nm of torque. The Karizma XMR 250 is similar in appearance to the 210, while the Xtreme 250R is an all-new streetfighter. Both are expected to be priced around ₹2 lakh.
Four new scooters: Vida V Zero: Probably the cheapest Vida model.
Destiny 125: Will come with an updated version.
Zoom 125R and Zoom 160: Both were showcased at EICMA, they are also likely to arrive.
Honda
Activa e and QC1 (EV scooter): Activa e: Based on the Activa European CUV, it is powered by two 1.5 kW swappable battery packs with a claimed IDC range of 102 km. It has a 6 kW swingarm-mounted motor and a top speed of 80 kph.
QC1: Launched with a 1.5 kW fixed battery, it will offer an IDC range of 80 km, a more budget-friendly EV with a 1.8 kW hub-mounted motor and a top speed of 50 kph. It offers 26 litres of underseat storage.
Big Bike Lineup Rejuvenation: Models like the Africa Twin 1100, CB 650R and CBR 650R are expected to return. Along with the CB 1000R liter-class super naked, the Transalp 750 and the CB 750 Hornet (internationally updated) are also expected.
Kawasaki
Versys 1100: The Versys 1100 features a new liquid-cooled 1099cc inline-4 engine that produces 136 horsepower and 113 Nm. It is similar in appearance to the Versys 1000, which has carry-over electronics. The price is expected to increase in the same way as the Ninja 1100 SX.
Updated Z900: It features new styling, ride-by-wire, IMU, riding modes, bidirectional quick shifter and cruise control. The engine output has been slightly reduced to 123 horsepower and 97.4 Nm to meet emission norms. Its weight has increased by 1 kg, now weighing 213 kg. A higher-spec SE variant will also be launched. The price is expected to increase from the current ₹9.38 lakh.

KTM
All-new 390 Adventure S: The mid-variant 390 Adventure S will sit between the top-end R and the base X in the 390 Adventure lineup. It comes standard with tubeless spoke wheels, adjustable suspension and cruise control. It is powered by the same 399cc engine as the Duke, which produces 46 horsepower and 39 Nm. It is expected to be priced slightly higher than the current mid-spec 390 Adventure’s ₹3.42 lakh price tag.
390 Enduro R: This is a dedicated off-road bike on the 390 platform with long-travel suspension and minimal bodywork. It gets adjustable suspension and a small digital dash. The price of this bike is expected to be similar to the 390 Adventure S.
390 SMC R: The 390 SMC R features the same 390 Enduro R riding on 17-inch wheels in supermoto fashion.
Ola Electric
S1 Z: The S1 Z is the latest scooter to join the Ola S1 lineup. Powered by a pair of two removable 1.5 kW battery packs, it can run on one battery (75 km range) or two (146 km range). It uses a hub-mounted motor with a peak power output of 3 kW and a claimed top speed of 70 kph. It has a new boxy design. It is expected to be priced between ₹59,999 and ₹64,999. Deliveries are expected to start by May 2025.
Ola Gig: The company’s first B2B-oriented electric scooter. The base variant has a 250W motor and a top speed of 25 kph (registration not required). The Gig Plus variant has a 1.5 kW motor and a top speed of 45 kph (registration required). Starting prices are ₹39,999 for the base model and ₹49,999 for the top model. Deliveries are expected to begin in April 2025.
Royal Enfield
Classic 650 Twin: This combines the timeless design of the Classic 350 with the performance of a 650 cc platform. The engine produces 47 horsepower and 52.3 Nm. Weighing in at 243 kg, it is the heaviest Royal Enfield model. It uses traditional 43 mm telescopic forks and wire-spoke wheels with bespoke MRF Nylogrip tyres. Expected to be priced in the ballpark of a shotgun, the top variant is priced at the same as the Super Meteor 650.
Scram 440: This is a heavily updated version of the Scram 411. The engine has been upgraded to 443 cc, which increases power to 25.4 horsepower and torque to 34 Nm. It has a six-speed gearbox, LED headlights, alloy wheels (allowing tubeless tyres), and switchable ABS. It weighs 196 kg (2 kg heavier than the 411). The price is expected to increase slightly from the current ₹2.06 lakh to ₹2.12 lakh.
Suzuki
Suzuki Electric Burgman: Suzuki’s electric Burgman is expected to go on sale in 2025. It will be powered by two removable batteries housed under the seat, sending power to a swingarm-mounted motor. Peak power is 4 kW, but at 147 kg, it is heavier than other Indian electric scooters. It shares elements with the petrol Burgman, such as a 780mm seat height and design.
Triumph
Tiger Sport 800: This replaces the new Tiger 850 Sport. Powered by a new 798cc triple engine (no relation to the previous Tiger 800 engine) that produces 115 horsepower and 84 Nm of torque. It rides on 17-inch wheels with Michelin Road 5 tyres. Weighing in at 244 kilograms with a full tank, it is heavier than the 850. It is expected to be priced in the ballpark of ₹11.95 lakh.
Overhauled Speed Twin 1200: It is available in base and RS variants (the latter with better components, more aggressive ergonomics and a bidirectional quick shifter). The 1200cc engine is rated for 105 horsepower and 112 Nm. The price is expected to increase slightly from the current ₹11.09 lakh.
TVS
CNG Scooter (Project U740): TVS plans to become the first ground-up CNG scooter manufacturer in the world, likely to start with a 125cc CNG scooter based on the Jupiter. It is expected to be priced slightly higher than the Jupiter 125’s ₹80,000-₹91,000 range, possibly even in the ₹90,000 to ₹1 lakh range.
New 299cc Engine and ADV Bikes: TVS has launched a new 299cc engine that produces 35 horsepower and 28.5 Nm of torque. The first bike powered by this engine is expected to arrive in the next few months, and given the recent spy shots, there is a strong possibility of an ADV bike along with the Apache naked and fully-faired sport bikes.
Yamaha
Updated R3 and MT-03: Both models get a sharper design and a reprofiled seat area. Mechanically, they get a slip and assist clutch and an optional up-only quick shifter. They also get a Bluetooth-compatible negative LCD display. They are expected to come with a small upcharge on their already expensive price tags.
Big bike launch: Yamaha is expected to bring its big bikes to India in 2025, including models like the MT-07, R7, MT-09 and possibly the Tenere 700.
