The BMW 2 Series has refreshed model has a sporty look, with a compact “shark-like” nose, clear bonnet lines with peel-back LED headlamps, Wider wheel arches that enhance the car’s appearance, A 430-litre boot space and a flowing, sloping roofline that gives the car a sporty look.
The BMW 2 Series GranCoupé is built on BMW’s front-wheel-drive UKL2 platform, which is the same as the 1 Series and Active Tourer—it focuses more on sharp handling and confidence.
BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé Handling and chassis updates
The chassis has been stiffened, and this includes a retuned suspension with stiffer front springs, now using multi-valve dampers, and increased caster offset at the front and a pre-loaded rear anti-roll bar. All these changes are aimed at making the car’s driving experience sharper and easier to control.
BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé Interior and technology
The cabin now follows BMW’s new design language.
It features a curved touchscreen running on BMW OS9, ambient lighting that reacts to temperature changes, wagon upholstery, a 10″ digital instrument cluster, a Harman Kardon audio sound system, wireless charging, frameless doors and much more.
BMW 2 Series GranCoupé Powertrain
It offers two engine options – petrol and diesel.
The petrol comes with a 1.5‑litre three-cylinder turbocharged mild-hybrid motor that produces around 168bhp and 280Nm, and can do 0-100km/h in around 7.9 seconds.
The diesel gets a 2.0‑litre four-cylinder diesel engine that makes 161‑163bhp, which has been slightly detuned and retains its 400Nm of torque.
BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé Price and availability
Slated to hit Indian showrooms between July and September 2025, the BMW 2 Series GranCoupé is expected to be priced between ₹45 lakh and ₹47 lakh. Several sources have suggested a launch around August 10 and an estimated price of ₹46 lakh.

Available paint options include colours such as Alpine White, Black Sapphire Metallic, Melbourne Red Metallic, Misano Blue Metallic, Snapper Rocks Blue, Storm Bay and Skyscraper Grey.
