Meet the 2025 BMW M 1000 RR – a true track beast that just got better.
The 2025 BMW M 1000 RR is back and better than ever. If you love fast bikes and dream of the racetrack, this is the one for you. BMW already built one of the best superbikes on the planet, but they’ve gone even further and made it even sharper, faster and smarter.
New looks, more style.
This year, the 2025 M 1000 RR comes in two bold colour options:
- A Light White/M Motorsport version with racing graphics inspired by Michael van der Mark’s World Superbike bike No. 60.
- A Blackstorm metallic/M Motorsport version with graphics inspired by Toprak Razgatlioglu’s No. 54.
The Power-Packed Superbike.
While the official power output remains the same as last year (a whopping 205 horsepower), they’ve improved almost every part of the engine. So it runs smoother, breathes better, and sounds even better.
The bike also gets a lighter and more efficient titanium exhaust system, so it performs better and meets stricter emissions regulations, without losing power and style.
Smart Tech for Riders.
The electronics have also been seriously upgraded.
The new Quick Throttle lets you control the bike faster and with less hand movement.
Slide Control helps you manage tire grip when cornering at high speeds, which is especially useful on the track.
Brake Slide Assist helps you drift smoothly through corners while braking, just like you’ve seen pro racers do.
There’s also a special setting for slick racing tires, for those who want to push it further on the track.
Aerodynamics And Handling.
One of the most notable changes is the redesigned front with new winglets. This update isn’t just for looks; it also pushes the bike down at high speeds, which helps it stay better controlled on the road during fast corners and straight-line sprints.
The frame of the M1000R has also been tweaked to improve the bike’s handling and make it feel more stable, especially when it’s being pushed hard across the track.
Optional Add-Ons And Packages.
If you want to go up a level, BMW offers a few add-on packages for looks and functionality.
M Competition Package: More premium parts, race-inspired graphics and special chain and swingarm add-ons to make it more attractive.
M Carbon Package: Loads of carbon fibre parts to reduce weight and add style, such as the rear fender and tank cover.
M Billet Package: High-end levers and footpegs for better control and feel.
Other custom options: You can also tune the engine for better low-end power or swap the wheels for lightweight forged ones.
Warranty And Release Information.
As always, BMW includes the first 600-mile service for free as part of their “Ultimate Care” package.
The bike will be available from mid-2025, and prices will be announced in early 2025.
The 2025 BMW M 1000 RR is the perfect blend of style, power and track-ready tech. Whether you’re a hardcore racer or someone who just likes to get the best of the best, this bike is built for thrills and a driving experience.
