Tata Motors has launched a new variant of the Safari called the Adventure X, priced at around Rs. 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant sits between the Pure and Accomplished trims and features a refreshed cabin with an “Adventure Oak” interior, featuring tan leatherette upholstery with black inserts.
The new Adventure X variant of the Safari is equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) including adaptive cruise control, a first for a Tata Motors SUV in this price segment. The variant also includes features like voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, 360-degree HD surround view camera, Trail-Sense auto headlamps, Aqua-Sense wipers and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen with digital instrument cluster.
Tata is revamping its SUV lineup by replacing all “Adventure” variants for both the Safari and Harrier with the new Adventure X and Adventure X+ variants.
Both the Safari and its Harrier have the same 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 167 hp and 350 Nm of torque, with both six-speed manual and automatic transmission options.
