Mahindra XEV 9S

Mahindra XEV 9S launched in November 2025 with many new updates and features, the XEV 9S is priced starting at ₹19.95 lakh, making it very competitive in the 7-seater electric SUV segment, positioning it as India’s first mass-market 7-seater electric SUV.

The XEV 9S is now available in three battery pack options: 59 kWh, 70 kWh, and 79 kWh, with the top variant getting a range of up to 679 km (claimed).

Bookings began in late November 2025, with deliveries expected in late January 2026, starting with the top-spec Pack Three Above variant.

Triple 12.3-inch screen setup (driver, central, and passenger displays) standard across all variants.

The XEV 9S is built on Mahindra’s INGLO platform, which focuses on enhanced safety, technology and comfort. And the advanced ADAS suite (Level 2+), which includes driver-initiated auto lane change, emergency steering assist and live cabin.
Also available are 6 and 7 airbags (including driver knee airbag) depending on the variant, advanced air filtration with AQI display, and acoustic laminated door glass.

Intelligent adaptive suspension and frequency dependent damping have been used for improved ride comfort. Also available is a panoramic skyroof, illuminated Mahindra logo, and ambient lighting with 16 million colors.

The XEV 9S is equipped with SonicSuite with virtual engine sounds, multi-step regenerative braking and one-touch single pedal drive. Advanced connectivity includes Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155/8295 chipset, 5G, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, support for OTT apps and Me4U app for remote command. Dual wireless charging (front and rear), NFC key access, and advanced climate control with Pet and Camp modes are also available.

The Mahindra XEV 9S is available in 6 different color options: Everest White, Ruby Velvet, Stealth Black, Desert Myst, Nebula Blue and Midnight Black.
