The 2026 Tata Punch facelift was launched on January 13 at Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom), introducing a turbo-petrol engine and premium updates. The latest major developments also include a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating confirmed on January 19, with top scores in adult (30.58/32) and child (45/49) safety.
Key design updates
The facelift gets a revised front end with slim LED DRLs, stacked LED headlights, a beefy bumper and a silver air dam inspired by the Punch EV.
Gets new intricate alloy wheels (15-16 inches), connected LED taillights and an updated Tata logo.
Retains the silhouette but adds new colours and a wider stance for a premium SUV look.
Powertrain additions
The powertrain features a new 1.2L turbo-petrol engine that makes 120 PS and 170 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed MT, NA petrol (88 PS/115 Nm, 5MT/AMT) and CNG engines are also offered.
Improved performance: 0-100 kmph in ~11 seconds for the turbo.
