The VinFast VF7 has been officially launched in India, priced starting at ₹20.89 lakh (ex-showroom) and going up to ₹25.49 lakh for the top model. It is available in five variants – Earth, Wind, Wind Infinity, Sky and Sky Infinity, and comes with two battery pack options: 59.6 kWh and 70.8 kWh, offering FWD or AWD configurations depending on the model.
In performance, the VF7 is powered by electric motors ranging from 176 PS (129 kW) to 354 PS (260 kW), delivering a maximum torque of up to 500 Nm. The 59.6 kWh battery provides a certified range of 438 km, while the larger 70.8 kWh pack extends it to 532 km. Charging is convenient with AC home charging (6-7 hours) and fast DC charging (10-70% in 24-28 minutes) via a CCS Type 2 port.
On the outside, the VF7 stands out with a sporty and modern design, which includes all-LED lighting, 19-inch alloy wheels, connected LED DRLs and taillamps, panoramic fixed glass roof, flush door handles, sculpted body lines, powered tailgate and a mesh-pattern grille with integrated ADAS radar.
The 2025 Vinfast VF7 is available in six different exterior color options: Jet Black, Desert Silver, Infinity Blanc (white), Crimson Red, Zenith Gray, Urban Mint (greenish color)
Inside, the cabin feels premium with a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, color head-up display (HUD), wagon leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, 8-way power driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, air purifier and multiple Type-C charging ports.
Technology includes Level 2 ADAS with adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane centering, automatic emergency braking, and semi-autonomous parking assist. Safety is well covered with 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, traction and stability control, TPMS, 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, ISOFIX, hill descent control, and impact-sensing door unlock.
VinFast offers a 10-year/2 lakh km battery warranty, free VGreens public charging till July 2028, and strong ownership benefits like 3 years of free maintenance. The VF7 is being manufactured locally in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, reinforcing its “Made in India” credentials, and will also be exported to South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
