India’s electric vehicle market has slowed down in February 2026. But slowing down does not mean weakening. It does not simply mean that the New Year shopping rush has cooled down a bit.
In this detailed report, we analyze the sales of electric two-wheelers and electric cars in India for February 2026 based on registration data. We analyze month-by-month performance, market share, rankings and key movements. No hype. No random numbers. Just real data.

Let’s start with electric two-wheelers.
Electric Two-Wheeler Sales – February 2026
India sold a total of 109,465 electric two-wheelers in February 2026.
Month-on-month (MoM) growth: -8.7%
Year-on-year (YoY) growth: +47%
The overall market saw negative MoM growth. February often sees lower figures compared to January as buyers rush to buy vehicles at the beginning of the year.
However, the 47% YoY increase indicates strong long-term demand.
Now, let’s look at the brand-wise rankings.
10) Revolt Motors
- January: 666 units
- February: 651 units
- MoM: -2%
- Market Share: 0.5%

9) E-Sprinto
- January: 2,030 units
- February: 1,176 units
- MoM: -42%
- YoY: +656%
- Market Share: 1%
