The Kinetic DX scooter was first launched in 1984, becoming a household name for its gearless scooters, trusted for city mobility and freedom.
In July 2025, Kinetic has launched the DX in a new incarnation as a modern electric scooter, blending nostalgia with cutting-edge EV technology.

Bookings: Bookings will be accepted with a token of ₹1,000, limited to 35,000-40,000 units in the initial batch. Deliveries will commence from September-October 2025.

Ride modes: Three – Range, Power, Turbo – plus cruise control, which can increase real-world range to 150 km at a steady speed.
Design and features.
The seat length is 704 mm, there is a flat seat for comfort, 37L of underseat storage that can easily fit two helmets.
Safety: It is equipped with features like hill hold, reverse assist, regenerative braking, combi-brake (220mm front disc, 130mm rear drum), roadside assistant to enhance safety.
Construction: Chassis made of metal body, 12-inch alloy wheels, telescopic front forks, adjustable rear shocks.

Warranty and manufacturing
Warranty: 3 years/50,000 km, with the option to extend to 9 years/100,000 km by the customer.
Kinetic is manufactured at its facility in Pune, India, which prioritizes Make in India.
Kinetic is designed in partnership with an Italian studio, whose original design is inspired by the Honda-based DX.
