Mahindra Scorpio-N to come with panoramic sunroof and level-2 ADAS soon.

Mahindra is gearing up to introduce two important upgrades to its popular Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV, one being a panoramic sunroof and the other being a level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). The aim of these updates is to enhance both the comfort and safety of the Scorpio-N SUV, so that it will now come to the attention of more people.

Panoramic sunroof to replace the single-pane unit.
The long-awaited panoramic sunroof is finally here. It will soon be available in the higher-spec variants of the mahindra Scorpio-N. It is expected to come in the Z8 and Z8L trims. Currently, the standard single-pane sunroof starts from the Z6 variant. With this upgrade, the Scorpio-N will offer a more premium and spacious cabin experience against cars like the Hyundai Creta and Tata Safari.

Level-2 ADAS for enhanced safety
Another major update is the addition of Level-2 ADAS tech, which will now help in safety and driver assistance and accident prevention. Other expected features will be included – adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, and high beam assist. These features will enhance the driving comfort of the driver, especially when going on highways and long-distance journeys.

Mahindra Scorpio-N Powertrain
Mechanically, there is no new take-up in the Scorpio-N. As per the previous model, only 2.0L turbo-petrol and 2.2L diesel engine options will be available, with manual and automatic transmission options, as well as both rear-wheel and 4-wheel-drive options.

Launch timeline
While Mahindra scorpion-n has not officially announced the launch date of the Scorpio-N yet, the updated variants are likely to arrive before the upcoming festive season, around Diwali 2025.
