Maruti Suzuki Escudo 5 Seater SUV view in detailed specs.

The first car is the Maruti Vitara 5-seater, which will be sold through Maruti Arena dealerships (unlike the Vitara sold through Nexa). This SUV will sit between the Brezza and the Vitara, priced around ₹12-18 lakhs (up to ₹24 lakhs for the hybrid). It will be slightly larger than the Brezza, with features like a panoramic sunroof, 360° camera, ventilated seats, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay and multiple engine options like 1.5L petrol, 1.5L hybrid and 1.5L CNG. It is expected to be launched by September-October 2025.

The other big launch in 2025 will be the Maruti eVitara, the company’s first electric SUV. Similar in size to the Grand Vitara but with a different design, it is expected to be priced in the ₹18-24 lakh range, giving direct competition to the Creta EV. With a 60 kWh battery, two-wheel drive and a real-world range of 450-500 km, it could be a game changer. Features include a single-pane sunroof, 360° camera, ventilated seats, ADAS and wireless connectivity. Read more about eVitara SUV.
In 2026, the Baleno will get a facelift. The current 1.2L 4-cylinder petrol will be replaced by a 3-cylinder unit, offering 30-35 km/l mileage with the help of a hybrid option. The styling changes will be minimal, with a sunroof and safety upgrades likely, which could increase the price by ₹1-1.5 lakh. The Fronx will also see similar mechanical updates, with the turbo petrol likely to be dropped if the hybrid comes.
A new-generation Brezza is also planned that will have an updated look, improved interiors, panoramic sunroof, better performance from the new 1.2L turbo petrol and will come with the same 1.5L petrol and CNG options, which will be priced in the range of ₹9-17 lakh.
Maruti will launch a new sub-compact SUV to compete with the Tata Punch. It will be priced in the range of ₹8-11 lakh, which will offer SUV styling, higher seating and features like sunroof, 360° camera and rear AC vents.
In the premium segment, Maruti (with support from Toyota) will introduce a 7-seater SUV to compete with the Mahindra XUV700. Expected to be priced in the ₹20-30 lakh range, it could offer 2.0L petrol and hybrid engines, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, ADAS Level 2 and more features.
In Maruti Suzuki’s plans for 2026-27, we will see the next-generation Ertiga. This will be bigger, more premium, and will focus on CNG and petrol with better mileage. A sunroof and upgraded interiors will also be offered.
With all these launches, Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to strengthen its lineup across all segments in the next few years.
