Tata Motors has finally unveiled the new Tata Sierra on its YouTube channel, and it looks absolutely stunning! After weeks of teaser clips, the full ad is out, giving us a detailed look at the SUV’s design, interior and features. Let’s get to know it all in detail.
Tata Sierra Exterior Design
The front design immediately grabs attention with a connected LED DRL strip that spans the nose, proudly featuring the Tata logo in the middle. There’s no traditional grille found on the EV version, just a clean, body-coloured panel with a piano black lower section and a serrated skid plate for a strong touch. However, the ICE version gets a proper black grille with cooling vents and a more traditional setup.
Looking at the rear, the design looks flat yet muscular, giving it a modern SUV attitude. The connected LED taillight bar has integrated running indicators, which looks very premium. Roof rails, shark-fin antenna and dual-tone skid plates add to the sporty character. CNC-cut alloy wheels with a silver brushed finish offer a futuristic appeal, though some may still prefer the more old-school rugged design.
Interior and cabin experience.
Step inside the cabin, and you’ll immediately notice a completely new dashboard layout, which is nothing like what we’ve seen in other Tata models so far, coming with a completely different design. The highlight here is the triple-screen setup, which is expected on higher variants. Tata’s infotainment system has been vastly improved, with smoother touch response and better software updates.
You’ll also get a touch-based climate control panel and a piano black steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo, which looks stylish but can easily attract fingerprints. The Range Rover-style rotary gear knob adds a premium feel, especially in the automatic variants. Surprisingly, Tata has managed to keep the A-pillars slim, improving forward visibility, which is rarely seen in their previous SUVs.
Sierra Space and comfort.

The rear seats offer generous headroom and legroom, thanks to the straight design and large windows. The beige and cream colour scheme makes the cabin feel airy and spacious. The seats have been redesigned, with three adjustable headrests and a foldable armrest for added comfort. A large panoramic sunroof extends over the rear seats, further enhancing the sense of openness.
Overall, the new Tata Sierra blends retro-inspired design with modern technology and comfort. It promises a balance of style, practicality and sophistication, a clear sign that Tata is upping its game in the premium SUV space.
