India’s electric car market is currently growing. Brands are launching their new EVs, updating older EVs and introducing feature-loaded models that are grabbing everyone’s attention. Not just the established players, but new entrants are also making a strong impact with aggressive pricing and impressive features.
Here’s a clear and updated look at the top 10 best-selling EV car brands in November 2025, along with their October vs. November sales comparison, available models and prices.
10. Tesla : 48 Units (November)

Tesla retains the 10th position with 48 units sold in November, up from 40 units in October.
Currently, Tesla sells only the Model Y in India.
Price: ₹59.89 lakh – ₹67.89 lakh
Battery Options: 60 kWh and 75 kWh
Range:
- RWD: 500 km
- Long Range: 622 km
Two variants are available, and interest is steadily growing.
9. Mercedes-Benz : 69 units sold (November)
Mercedes sold 69 units in November, down from 90 units sold in October.
Mercedes offers eight different EV models in India, covering a wide premium segment.
Price range: ₹68 lakh to ₹3 crore.
Despite being premium, Mercedes has a variety of EV model options catering to different luxury segments.
8. BMW : 267 units sold (November)
BMW sold 267 units, down from 303 units sold in October.
They offer six electric models, priced starting at ₹50 lakh and going up.
Despite a slight dip in sales this month, BMW EVs have remained popular for their performance and brand value.
7. Vinfast : 287 units (November)
This month’s surprise performer! The new EV brand is Vinfast.
Vinfast has moved up to the 7th spot with sales of 287 units, a sharp increase from 131 units in October.
Vinfast offers two EV models:
- Range: 463 – 468 km
- Price: ₹16.49 lakh – ₹18.29 lakh
- Range: 438 – 532 km
- Price: ₹22.89 lakh – ₹25.49 lakh
Both cars offer strong styling, road presence and aggressive pricing, and are seeing their growing popularity in the Indian market.
6. Hyundai : 370 units (November)
Hyundai retained its sixth position, selling 370 units, slightly down from 437 units in October.
Hyundai’s current EV lineup includes:
- Creta EV
- Ioniq 5
The Creta EV is also doing well, while the Ioniq 5 is selling slowly and is awaiting updates.

5. BYD : 417 units (November)
BYD sold 417 units in October, down from 524 units during the festive season.
Their lineup includes four strong offerings:
- Ato 3 (Auto3)
- Ciel
- Sealion
- E6 / EMA 7 (7-seater)
BYD cars are known for premium features, excellent range, and strong safety ratings.
4. Kia : 463 units (November)
Kia sold 463 units compared to 615 units in October.
Kia’s EV lineup includes:
- EV6
- EV9
- Carens/Clavis EV (affordable option)
The Carens/Clavis EV starts at around ₹25 lakh and offers good range and a spacious cabin with a premium feel.
3. Mahindra : 2,920 units sold (November)
Mahindra remains stable at third place, selling 2,920 units, compared to 3,709 units in October.

Mahindra also launched a new 7-seater electric SUV with aggressive pricing, which could boost sales next month.
2. MG Motor India : 3,658 units sold (November)

JSW MG sold 3,658 units, down from 4,464 units in October, but still maintained a strong hold on the No. 2 spot.
Their EV lineup includes:

- Comet EV
- Windsor EV
- ZS EV
The consistent monthly sales demonstrate MG’s strong position in the Indian EV ecosystem.
1. Tata Motors : 6,996 units sell (November)
Once again, Tata Motors rules the EV market as well, selling 6,996 units, slightly up from last month’s 6,878 units.
Tata has six EV models available:
- Sierra EV
- Nexon EV
- Tiago EV
- Tigor EV
- Punch EV (PCH EV)
- Curv EV
- Harrier EV
Nexon, Tiago and Punch EV have been top sellers due to their affordability, safety and features.
Tata’s next EV is the Tata Sierra EV, expected to arrive in 2026, likely to be priced between ₹15-18 lakh, offering a range of 400-500 km and a spacious 5-seater setup.
