Top 10 Motorcycles June 2025 in india – YoY Sale Report

Top Performers – Sales Figure Increase In June 2025

Hero Splendor – 3,31,057 units (+8.34%).
Hero Splendor once again proved that it is India’s favourite commuter motorcycle. With over 3.3 lakh units of Splendor sold, it holds the top 1 spot in the list. Splendor’s fuel efficiency, low maintenance and unmatched reliability make it unbeatable in the segment.

HF Deluxe – 1,00,878 units (+12.16%)
At number two, Hero’s other bike, the HF Deluxe, is also doing well, with the HF Deluxe crossing the 1 lakh sales mark. Affordable price, mileage and reliability are the main reasons for this bike’s growing popularity in rural and semi-urban areas.

Passion – 26,249 units (+100.37%)
Hero’s Passion has also delivered amazing sales. The Passion has seen a massive 100% year-on-year growth, from just 13,100 units in June 2024 to 26,000 units sold this year.
Clearly, Hero’s strategy of revamping its commuter lineup is working, appealing to daily riders with style and reliability.

Apache – 41,386 units (+11.37%)
TVS’ Apache motorcycle, known for its performance and sporty appeal, has also shown positive growth.
The bike is becoming more popular among young riders who want a bike with a combination of power and affordability.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 – 29,172 units (+17.61%)
The Classic 350 is not just a motorcycle but a status symbol, the 350 has also seen a year-on-year growth of 17.61%, which shows its popularity.

Declining Performers – Where Sales Slipped

Pulsar – 88,452 units (-20.39%)
The most shocking decline was witnessed by Bajaj Pulsar, which sold 22,649 units less this year compared to last year. It seems that Pulsar is losing some traction in the market due to the shift towards value-for-money and updated technology. Bajaj Pulsar now needs a new modern update.

Shine – 1,43,218 units (-11.96%)
Despite Honda Shine being the second largest in sales, sales have seen a decline of almost 12%. Competitive pricing from rivals seems to be eating away at its market share. Honda also needs to take significant steps.

Rider – 27,481 units (-7.94%)
The new entry in the sporty commuter segment, TVS Rider, has also seen a slight decline in sales. But its modern look and features keep it in the game.

Platina – 25,662 units (-22.47%)
Bajaj Platina, known for its mileage and simplicity, has seen the biggest decline in percentage terms. The trend towards feature-rich bikes has affected its sales. Platina too now needs new features that can boost its sales.

CB Unicorn – 26,363 units (-1.45%)
Honda CB Unicorn has maintained a steady growth with a very low decline, with a YOY growth of -1.45% indicating that its sales are slowly declining, but it has a loyal fan base.

June 2025 has been a mixed year for motorcycle sales in India. While overall industry growth remained modest, brands focusing on affordable, fuel-efficient and feature-rich motorcycles have emerged as winners. With the Hero Splendor leading the way and the Passion making a strong comeback, competition is heating up again in the 100-125cc bike segment.
