Vietnamese EV maker VinFast has entered India with two models – the VF6 and the VF7. The VF6 is a smaller, more affordable option and comes with an aggressive price tag, making it an attractive choice in the growing EV market.
Design and styling
The VF6 features VinFast’s signature V-shaped DRLs at the front with an attractive LED light bar that adds width to the design. The bumper is kept simple, with air ducts and ADAS sensors neatly integrated. The bonnet has clean lines, which focus on aerodynamics for better efficiency.
From the side of the VF6, it’s clear that this is more of an urban crossover than a robust SUV. It gets 190 mm ground clearance, 18-inch alloy wheels and an extra ride height tuned for Indian roads. The rear is also inspired by the V-shaped DRLs from the front, the design remains subtle, with full-width LED tail lamps, integrated spoiler and rear wiper. Overall, the VF6 looks modern yet understated.
Interior and features

Step inside the cabin, and the first thing you’ll notice are the premium soft-touch materials with a dual-tone brown and black finish. The cabin is minimalist – almost all controls can be done from the large 12.9-inch touchscreen, while the drive selector gets physical buttons. There’s no traditional instrument cluster, instead, driving information is displayed on a central screen.
