BMW X5

The 2025 BMW X5 is priced at ₹97.80 lakh for the base model and goes up to ₹1.12 crore for the top model (ex-showroom India).

Variants: The X5 is available in 4 main variants – 40i xLine (base petrol), 40i M Sport (petrol), 30d xLine (base diesel), and 30d M Sport (top diesel).

Engine and Performance: The petrol engine produces 381 PS (375.48bhp) and 520 Nm of torque, the diesel produces 285 PS (281.68bhp) and 650 Nm of torque. Both use 48V mild hybrid technology and are mated to an 8-speed Steptronic Torque Converter automatic transmission with all-wheel drive.

Design: The facelift includes a new Illuminated “Iconic Glow” kidney grille, new arrow-shaped LED DRLs, revised LED taillights with a distinctive X motif, new multi-spoke 21-inch alloy wheels, revised front and rear bumpers for a sharp and aggressive look.

Interior and features: Highlights include a large 14.9-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, curved widescreen layout, powered front seats with memory, ventilated and heated seats, head-up display, 4-zone automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, multi-color ambient lighting and wireless smartphone charging.

Safety: Equipped with 6 airbags, dynamic stability control, cornering brake control, ISOFIX child seat mounts and driver attendance alert, among other features.

ADAS: Advanced driver-assistance packages are available, including automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection and semi-autonomous parking.

The BMW X5 competes strongly with rivals like the Mercedes-Benz GLE, Audi Q7 and Volvo XC90 in the premium luxury SUV segment.

The BMW X5 is available in 6 different colour options – Skyscraper Grey Metallic, Mineral White Metallic, Tanzanite Blue Metallic, Dravit Grey Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic and Blue Ridge Mountain Metallic.
